Svein David Medhaug

Svein David is a seasoned maritime professional with extensive expertise in maritime development. Currently, he is the business development manager at Remota, a remote operation center focused on the future of shipping and remote services. During his 15-year tenure at the Norwegian Maritime Authority (NMA), Svein David advanced digitalization and autonomous services, chaired international groups within the IMO and led key initiatives in e-navigation and automation. With hands-on experience as a mariner and deck officer, and as a product developer at Seam, he has contributed to projects involving alternative fuels and designs, showcasing his strong engineering background.
